WHAT WE DO:
Big Cheese Coaching inspires TGIM (thank goodness it's Monday!) attitudes, aptitudes and altitudes for leaders at work and in life. We provide executive coaching, individual and team coaching, leadership development, communications counsel, training and implementation. We support organizational mandates and individual goals related to talent management, employee engagement, corporate culture, career management and work-life synergy. See Services.

PASSION: What is it to be truly engaged and successful in your work and life? That question underscores the foundation of our work and it is what we are passionate about.

We see ‘work’ as a context for people to grow, contribute, discover, collaborate and express their unique strengths and gifts. We also appreciate the importance of tending to one’s growth and contribution outside of the workplace – in our personal lives and/or within our communities. We see a connection between the two. We enjoy working with people and organizations who feel the same way.

AUTHENTICITY: People and organizations do their best and experience more fulfillment when they know who they are and work from there. As such, authenticity is at the heart of success and engagement. This holds true for both individuals and organizations.

To be ‘big is not necessarily about magnitude (although it could be), it’s about being real and true to your potential and aspirations. It’s about bringing out more of one’s ‘whole’ self at work – not just the intellectual ‘producing’ side.

While we work with our clients on various goals and contexts we always start with some internal-focused reflection. Whether at an organizational, team or individual level -- Get clear on who you are: your strengths, unique offering, core values, talents, passions – as well as those parts that get in the way and keep you stuck. From there one can take more meaningful action and focus on what really needs to happen to bring the best (of oneself and/or the team) to the table.

LEADERSHIP: We work from the stance of leadership. In fact, leadership and authenticity work together. Leaders come in various shapes and sizes. They are lifelong learners – of themselves and their world(s). They take responsibility for their success, challenges and even failures. They continually seek the right questions and not just the answers. Leaders make a difference. We work with our clients to bring out the leaders within so that they can make great things happen.

PARTNERSHIP AND UNIQUE COLLABORATION: Our approach is built on a foundation of partnership and collaboration. We work with our clients – not just for our clients. We appreciate that our client’s bring an enormous wealth of expertise and experience. We help them access that even further to find their own unique answers to their challenges and aspirations.

CONTRIBUTION: We never lose sight of the bigger picture which is about helping our clients make great things happen. Authentic leadership ultimately results in contribution. When leaders bring their most authentic selves to their work and lives they make a difference.

From there we’ll recommend a starting path. Our work together may draw on a variety of programs from coaching to consulting – with groups or individually. If the fit is right, we will find the right mix for your needs.
